  2. Insure that the Vox is off. Also RIT and XIT should be off.

  4. To use the "FEC" mode B.
  5. To Transmit, hit "Ctrl X", then type away the message.
  6. To End the Transmission, hit "Ctrl D".

  8. To use the "Linked Mode" mode A.
  9. First get into amtor by doing an "Alt F1" and choose 6.
  10. Then to call the other fellow type "ARQ xxxx" xxxx represents his selcall.
  11. When it successfully links, type away, if the text you are typing, appears
  12. in the top part of the screen, then you know that he is receiving it okay.
  13. When you want to turn it over to the other guy, hit "]", the right bracket.
  14. This will send your callsign and turn it over to him.
  15. When you want to end the qso, type "Ctrl D" or "}"
  16.  
  17. To Monitor someone else's QSO do "AL" + Enter.

  19. ALT C WILL SEND A CQ
  20. ALT V WILL SEND A CQ DX
